February 1, 1921 Jensen, Utah My dear Douglass: In the last financial statement which you rendered, which was received last week, you show two payments to L. H. Woodard for stone dated December 31, 1920, one paid by check $13.00, and one by cash for $13.00, but you only send me a receipt for one of these items. Will you please send the other receipt with your next account. I would also suggest that in the future the receipts for your men for payment should show the amount of time they have worked. To simply itemize them as for work in December and as the amounts vary, it is impossible for us to tell whether the men have worked the entire month of December or simply a number of days. If in the future, therefore, you will have your receipts show exactly the amount of work done, it will make it easier for our auditor.
