get to these skeletons portions of another large Dinosaur have been recently uncovered. This was unexpected as it is in the sandstone which overlies the regular bone-horizon. This will unavoidably delay, to some extent, the prospecting and getting-out of the other skeletons. Much excavating has been done of late and many bones and parts of skeletons have been consigned to the waste heap because they were on the weathered edge of the sandstones which contain the bones. Now, as has been previously stated, we are well away from the weathered zone. One of our most interesting recent discoveries is a skull of a small sauropod Dinosaur. The teeth are narrow and similar to those of Diplodocus but somewhat flatter. They are very numerous -- two or more sets are partly visible -- and they extend much farther back in the jaw. The skull is also much shorter and higher -- more "pug-dog" like. The antero-posterior length of the skull measured along the mandible is 11 1/2 inches, and the teeth of the upper jaw extend backward 5 inches. The hight [sic] of the skull in the region of the orbit was evidently 6 in. or more. We cannot tell yet whether any of the skeleton is near or not. It is certainly
