My dear Dr. Holland

	I have an opportunity to send mail to Vernal so will write brifly [sic] and without further delay. I plan to write again soon.

	We have been very busy lately getting ready for the winter storms which have already begun tho the weather is fine now. I think we have it now so we can work to advantage when the cold weather comes.

	The people are coming so I will have to state the main points at issue. I was to write you after the middle of the month when I knew more definitely about the conditions. I will write more fully later but the financial atmosphere has not cleared up yet so please deposit an extra hundred dollars at the end of this month. This will not quite straighten up but you can decide, after I have written, on just what it is best to do.
