Jensen, Utah, Dec. 2, 1921 My dear Dr. Holland:- I have another opportunity to send letters today so I must write to you again. I wrote to you several days ago saying that we needed an extra hundred dollars at the end of November, pay for work, supplies etc. This will not quite "straighten up" everything but I think we can get along if money is too short to cover it at the present time. My men do not all work all the time and this is one reason for not cutting force down. They will probably take about a weeks vacation during the holidays and this will help us to get even. We have now on hand a considerable amount of plaster paris, powder etc. We are now getting our coal for winter. It has taken more work than I had anticipated to get ready to work to advantage in the cold weather, but things are now in good shape. Can go up to quarry to east side, where we are working now, with wagons and autos and load blocks there.
