	It seems that the inspector from Mr. Rau's testimony alone has condemned the trees. Under such conditions, someone living by the Flatiron building could swear it was dangerous and the inspector could command the owners to tear it down, I would think.

	I will try to send the letter from Mr. Morgan also.

	I will also drop a line to the Inspector.

	I think that the man who wrote me and wired me from the Carnegie Technical school is McCullum.

	Perhaps I have no rights and can't do anything, but I know that if trees are cut down they can never be replaced.
