not wish to deny that I have said something which gave this impression, but I have said that the Museum can undoubtedly work it as long as they wish, and I have told my men to answer any enquiries by saying that no one knows how long the Museum will work the quarry. I think the fear is that the quarry will be left unprotected, and so far at least their solicitude is undoubtedly commendable.
