November 20, 1922 Mr. Earl Douglass, Jensen Utah. Dear Mr. Douglass; Acknowledging your note of recent date I wish to say that I will deposit $100 which you request on the first of the month. On Saturday Mr. Peterson, of the Geological Survey of Utah, called upon me and told me of some very intersting fossil footprints of enormous size, which he had discovered in the roof of several coal mines. As Mr. Peterson was on his way back to Utah, and as one of these mines is not very far distant from you I have asked him to go in your direction and make arrangement to show you some of these specimens in place.
