My dear Stewart: Will you please deposti $150.00 in the field account to settle up the last of February? One hundred dollars of this is for Mr. Kay's salary for February. He of course is still in our employ. He is now helping me with the copying of the permanent records etc. which I thought I would have to finish alone. The balance is for small bills. I received the letter in which you told me that you had decided to have Mr. Kay remain with me for the season or that you would not have him go back to the museum at the present. I expect to write you further in a few days. I received a letter from Walcott. They have not yet decided what they will do. Utah is trying to get in on it. Of course this is aside from our business but I certainly do not wish to see the quarry open to vandalism. Earl Douglass
