Your letter of April 17th has just been received and probably crossed mine of a few days ago.  I sincerly hope that your period of bad weather will soon be over and that you will be able to have the material hauled to craig.



The day after my letter was sent to you Mr. Peterson told me that he had received word from you of the death of your sister.  Please accept my sincere sympathy in this great trouble which has come to you.
