My dear Stewart: I am sending revised final financial report for May. Am also sending vouchers. As I keep duplicates or copies, and as I had to copy most of these I have attached copies to receipts for convenience of handling etc. I have your letter of the 18th. I don not understand the trouble about the freight being carried forward as I sent telegrams to the presidents or heads of all the roads the name which you wired me -- For example: C.R. Gray, President, Union Pacific R.R, Omaha, Neb. Car No. 133626 C & N.W. with fossils shipped second, for free transportation to Pittsburg as agreed between you and douglass stewart Director Carnegie Museum. Another car to follow. Will wire when arrives. -- Earl Douglass. As ther was some delay in getting second car I had to send two messages to each. Before getting your letter I had sent list of contents of boxes by registered mail. I hope you will get it in time to arrange boxes. I could have sent duplicate list before going to Craig had I realised that you needed it. We did not have the list in Craig. There was a little revision but I could have sent revised list later. I am sorry for this oversight. There are in the last carload of fossils some collections of fossil leaves from various formations near Craig, Colorado. I will enclose with this a list of these Fossils. I enclose also a diagram of the large block in 4 pieces of No. 500. These are loose in the car. This letter should have gone with Report January and I thought I had enclosed it. Earl Douglass
