Museum during the coming winter.  You can inform him that I have received his letter and that we will pay him a salary of $140 a month for the winter's work.  I do not wish to make any positive contract with him beyond that period, as probably he will want to return west during the summer and if so we will nto have any employment for him in the field.  Do you think it would be a good thing for you to spend next winter in Pittsburgh?
