do with this matter. If there is any blame for telling or showing the facts in the case, the blame must rest on me, or possibly on others who unofficially represented the conditions. I don't put in a claim to being better than anyone else, but no one can truthfully accuse me of being intentionally unfatithful to the museum which I have tried to serve for more than twenty years. As far as the University of Utah is concerned, it is my opinion tha tthey will be willing to let the matter rest. In opening up the ground other skeletons are being uncovered and they seem likely to get what they asked for and much more. It seems that it might be of mutual benefit to be on cordial terms with them also, no museum gets everything it wishes, while excavating. Earl Douglass
