139 South, 12 East Salt Lake City, Utah April. 10. 1929 [wrong year, should be 1930] Dear Mrs. Courtney:- I received in fine shape the box of publications which was sent to me by express. I find much of interest and much which recalls "the days that are gone". I am still collecting rare fossils and with as much enthusiasm as ever. Hope we can visit the Museum again some time and see the old friends. Gawin is 22 now and is draftsman etc in the Interurban Station here. Have just heard that Peterson has been taken to a hospital but no particulars. Hope condition not serious. Mrs. Douglass sends kindest wishes and says she never forgets you. I have written a letter to Dr. Avinoff thanking him etc. With kind wishes, Earl Douglass
