Many years previously, unique collections of Mammals had been made by the Princeton University and the American Museum of Natural History int eh Uinta Basin in Eastern Utah, but it has been about twelve years since the last expedition for this prupose had entered this strange out of the way region the only place where these later Eocene Mammals had been found. Though since that time there had been some changes, many relics of pioneer days far from the main throughfares of life freight teams, toll roads, ferries and stage coaches still remained.
