Dr. Holland did not think it advisable to make extensive excavations at this place yet there were a frew limb bones which he desired to save.  But there was not time during this season to do this and properly finish the work begun in the mammalian deposits.



The expedition had been so successful and the field was so large and promising that the director of the museum sent an expdetion into this region again the following year, 1909.
