On the 17th of August after nearly two weeks of searching and digging in this region and looking over most of the fromation exposed a ledge of sandstone was found which contained many bones of Dinosaurs, but there, like the others were weathered and broken. The ledge was followed to the bottom of a ravine and then up the steep slope on the other side. At last when the top of the hill was nearly reached, a series of large vertebrae were weathered out in relief upon the southern face of the sandstone ledge.
