This did not bring any thing to light Excavation was made just in front of the pelvis, and there was disappointment when it was found that the spinal column was not continuous here.  Soon however, a regular series of processes of bones was traced.  These proved to be those of a large neck.  If this neck belonged to No. 1 as the huge specimen was call, it was certain that a large part of the skeleton could be secured enough, it was   topay for the work of getting it out.
